… And now is my turn to dance in this storm of beauty.
Generally I hate to rely on existing material, but this time is different.
Rather, I'm gladly to have this occasion because I want to “return” something to the god who is born to die, one of the few things that inspired me a lot.
This chapter of the famous vidoegames saga is a curious title, (I refer to the the first) and very experimental in my opinion, but I especially liked it even though I've never play it. I'm a bad player because I love the antagonist side and I not very good in videogames, but I see the art of these worlds and I want to catch it and make a “Final Boss-paint style”, that I started with my thesis on the deicide in videogames.
I have analyzed the Final Boss in all the ways and I arrived to the conclusion that in the whole pantheon of video games this, the god who wants to die, is none other than the perfect Final Boss. I don't speak only of the religious aspect, in this FB live the true essence of human's nemesis, the conflict between heaven and earth, the wound of all that is human aganinst his golden and cruel dream of perfection and eternity. Is the power which also incarnate light and darkness in a more bigger light, no dragons, lords of darkness or falling angels, but a bizarre holy family with a child who wants a radiant cancellation as a reflection of the human failure to represent gods, perfection, absolute beauty and love.
The sweet poison of art. This Final Boss is one of the causes of my path and I owe him a lot, along with Dysley-Baldanders and the whole philosophy of "fighting fate" of the thirteenth chapter.
Initially I wanted to play only with the elements of that FB (obviously) and th girl who killed this god, but I (sadly) immediately considered that the idea was not sufficiently insane and particular, so I did not want to focus on a single source and I chose to extend the whole and merge all of the gods-like creature of the trilogy which inspire me .
Each section of the girl has been basically embroidered on the dyad of elements of the forms of the Final Boss, with some central parts of the pure antagonist (the "pope") and the final God of the last chapter, accompanied by minor elements, such as the stigma.
There are also many details as the name of the character, written on the crown in the correct alphabet of this world.
The central idea is not to do a real costume but a deification by the reversal of the role of Player-Final Boss, against the classical logic of a god incarnate in a human body, where that girl absorbs in here body the divine elements, becoming her in first person like a Final Boss-God. Beauty and terror, this is the exaltation of a deity form, the protagonist is still human? This is one of the best questions of the last chapter and the central theme of the image.
[Sorry for my bad english...]
You're welcome ! I totally get what you want to show and how to express it, and I think it really is a good analysis of how the final boss could have been (Even if it wasn't like that)
Wouah a furst national award as best Italian it's very good anyway ! Be proud
Thanks ! Italian is a beautiful language too (It is the second language I learned at school but I'm not that very good T.T)
You're welcome ! There is so much details, so much work in what you did...I just need few seconds to see all of this... And I was like "What have you not win !?"
Ca aurait été intéressant de l'avoir comme un boss rien que pour le design, chapeau !
